About Us

Chazak Foundation is a non-profit organization whose core objective is to create a broad awareness and sensitivity amongst pre-school children towards people who have physical and mental disabilities across the broadest spectrum. This is achieved by creating age-appropriate literature, materials and teaching programmes aimed at sensitizing children and creating inclusiveness in the classroom for those with disabilities.

• To make people aware of disabilities
• To make people more understanding, considerate, tolerant and patient of people who have limitations.
• To allow people to realize that disabilities and limitations should not be feared but rather embraced.
• To demonstrate that even though one does have a disabilities or limitation one can achieve anything they set their minds to do.

THE MISSION

• To give pre-school children opportunities to have a hands-on-experience of what it is like to have a disability such as being visually impaired, hearing impaired and/or physically disabled.
• To allow pre-school children to go gain the knowledge, verbally and physically, of the challenges that a person with a disability faces every day of their lives.
• To develop a perspective of the emotional difficulties that one goes through when one has barriers in living a normal life
• To engender an appreciation of what able-bodied people have, and count their blessings.
• To bring a realization to people who have limitations and disabilities that they have rights too and no one should prevent them living a life full of opportunities.
